Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RosterVue, a fantasy football auction draft application available at rostervue.com and related services (the "Service"), operated by Jonathan Quintos ("RosterVue," "we," "us," or "our").

Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. The Service

RosterVue provides tools to set up and run live fantasy football auction drafts, including a shared draft board, live bidding, budget and roster tracking, and optional import of player data from third-party sources such as Yahoo. The Service is designed primarily for in-person, shared-screen use, with optional remote viewing.

3. Beta service — provided free and "as is"

The Service is currently offered as a free beta. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • The Service is under active development and may contain bugs, errors, or interruptions;
  • Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time without notice;
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time, and access may be limited to invited beta participants;
  • The Service may be unavailable, delayed, or fail to deliver real-time updates, and you should not rely on it as the sole record of any draft; and
  • We do not guarantee that any data (including drafts, picks, or league settings) will be preserved, and certain actions within the Service — such as starting a new draft in an existing league — may permanently delete prior draft data.

We recommend keeping your own backup record of any draft results that matter to you.

4. Accounts

To use most features, you must create an account and may be required to enter a valid invitation or signup code. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@rostervue.com if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • Upload or create content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or otherwise objectionable;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems;
  • Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attempt to circumvent the security, rate limits, or intended operation of the Service;
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service except as permitted by law; or
  • Use the Service to operate any form of illegal gambling or wagering.

RosterVue is a draft-management tool. We do not operate, facilitate, or take any part in wagering, prize pools, or entry fees between you and other users; any such arrangements are solely between you and your league members and are your responsibility.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create in the Service, such as league names, team names, draft settings, and results ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the rights to submit it and that it does not violate these Terms or any third-party rights.

7. Feedback

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them for any purpose without obligation or compensation to you.

8. Third-party services and data

The Service integrates with and displays data from third parties, including Yahoo Fantasy Sports. Your use of any third-party integration is subject to that third party's terms and privacy policy, and we are not responsible for third-party services or data. RosterVue is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Yahoo, the National Football League (NFL), any NFL team, FantasyPros, or any player, league, or association. All third-party names, marks, player names, and statistics are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding (excluding Your Content and third-party data), is owned by RosterVue and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT REAL-TIME UPDATES WILL BE DELIVERED RELIABLY, OR THAT ANY DATA WILL BE PRESERVED. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RosterVue AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, DRAFTS, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (WHICH MAY BE ZERO) OR (B) US $50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RosterVue and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or any third-party rights.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6–12) will survive.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
